GIP 2.0 is a financial holding company that was established in 1993 by a group of Genoese maritime entrepreneurs.
The company holds interests in several port terminals and transport activities.

Terminal Operator

CILP is the Terminal Operator arm of Livorno stevedoring Company. GIP 2.0 has acquired a significant interest in the Company. CILP is the Terminal Operator with the largest areas in concession in the Port of Livorno. CILP is leader in handling forest products, general cargo, metals containers, veichles and rolling stock, H/L and project cargoes.

Multimodal Transport Operator

Logtainer was established in 1977 as an MTO (multimodal transport operator). Today the Company ranks as one of Italy’s top MTOs in the container business. The large volume of containers handled enabled Logtainer to become a member of the IQS (Italian Quality System), and thus benefit from special conditions with the Italian National Railways. Almost all major container carriers turn to Logtainer as a reliable provider of high-quality services. The company has implemented a state-of-the-art IT system to ensure direct and user-friendly EDI access to all data.

Container Terminal

Terminal Rubiera is a container terminal located in Rubiera (Modena). The terminal covers an area of almost 5 hectares and is linked by four tracks to the Italian railway network. Terminal Rubiera is a natural hub on the railway network linking the Emilia Romagna region with the main ports of Genoa, La Spezia, Livorno (Leghorn) and Ravenna. Terminal Rubiera is fully equipped to provide storage areas for empty containers and M&R solutions to meet carriers’ needs.

Road Hauliers

Nord Italia Logistica was established to support the activities of Logtainer MTO. Nord Italia Logistica’s transport capacity has grown in recent years and today the company operates a fleet of more than 400 trucks. We operate from/to all major ports, including Genoa, La Spezia, Vado Ligure, Livorno, Napoli, Salerno, Ravenna, Venice and Trieste, as well as from the main inland hubs of Milan, Modena, Padova and Bologna.
Our trucks are all equipped with tracking systems and latest generation technologies, to improve their performances and ensure the highest level of security to drivers.
